Styling Paper Sushi's Calligraphy Wedding Suite
Spring is blooming here in Portland and the pretty pastels and bright florals are inspiring us!
We've picked out some pretty colors and paired them with one of our brand new wedding suites - the Calligraphy Suite - for another styling post.
We chose some gorgeous paper from Paper Source - A7 flat card in the color, Beet, and 4 Bar cards in the color, Sage. Since we've been using lots of botanical greens, rich purples, pretty peaches, white, and tan (think kraft paper), these colors were just perfect!
Here I've used a lovely ColorBox pigment ink in Turtle, to stamp our return address onto our RSVP envelopes and invitation envelopes.

We decided to pair the bright colored paper with a neutral white ink (ColorBox's Frost White), to really make the colors pop! We then took some white embossing powder and heat set it, which made the white ink even more opaque and bright!

For our lovely envelope liner, Jen watercolored some pretty little flowers and leaves! We used our envelope liner template to trim it to size.
We used the same Frost White ink and embossing powder for our RSVPs as well.
For a unique design twist, we wrapped some lovely tan bakers twine diagonally and repeatedly around the invitation. Before tying it off, we stamped a small tag with our Please Visit our Website stamp in ColorBox's Peony pigment ink.
After gluing down the envelope liner, we slipped the RSVP and envelope underneath the twine around the invitation.
For a finishing touch, we sealed the envelope with the same bright floral washi tape! Don't forget to use some colorful vintage postage stamps to tie it all together!
We hope we've inspired you to have some fun with your Paper Sushi wedding invitation stamps! DIY wedding invitations have endless possibilities! We'd love to see how you style your suite!
